Biography

Caracas, Venezuela - 1970

Leisle and her family emigrated to United States during the Venezuelan humanitarian crisis in 2018. She attended advanced drawing and painting courses in numerous artistic academies in Caracas, such as the Higuera academy and Posa Studio Creativo C.A, and many others.

Soon, she graduated with a bachelor's in arts at the well-known Escuela de Artes Visuales Cristobal Rojas, in her native city. She has an extended experience as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator.

Recently, Leisle is developing as an acrylic painter, her work is inspired by an event that marked a before and after in her life, which developed a condition in her right eye; consequently, she experiences a distorted vision, for which she finds interesting from capture in her artwork, which inspires in her series called Macula.

She is the author of Sweep Mixed Texture technique. This technique represents more than a work of art, is an inspiration to teach us that we must face adversity, we need to remember what our vital sense is. Clarify our purposes and awaken resilience, which will help us go through the processes with better resources and integrity.
